Until last year, I had never thought about ethical fashion. In September, I stumbled across a documentary on Netflix called “The True Cost.” The doc explores the fashion industry from cotton farmers all the way through the manufacturing process to the retail outlets. I was shocked and appalled by the unethical nature of this multi-billion dollar industry and, as someone who considers themselves to be conscious and compassionate, I decided I would no longer buy from brands which I don’t feel like share my values.
In this week’s video, I talk through my transition to ethical fashion and also share some of my clothing favourites. If you enjoy the video, please like and subscribe to our channel Howay The Herbivores!
